Very true, but I do spend a ridiculous amount of time there though

| Well, from tomorrow onwards I'll likely be spending a fair amount of time in the foulest den of scum and villainy in the universe.
AKA The Job Centre. | |

AKA The Job Centre. I understand ur pain. I just spent six months there. My suggestion- take a good book to read to block it all out. I know its shite but try temping. its how I manged to get my current job and it keeps u out the job centre for a bit longer. Hope that helps in some way mate.

| I'm just going in to sign on so I'll have at least some money coming in, but I'm also applying for any job I can find (that is in some way tolerable, I may be desperate for money but there are some things I won't do) and gonna pop by some agencies and get on their lists (my mum was pretty much doing the same after being made redundant following 25 years in her job). | |

| Yeah good tactic with applying for lots but having standards. i was applying for anything and most places were like- u have a degree what do u want a job here for? and other jobs could tell my heart wasnt in it. also worth giving prince's trust a ring if ur interested in running ur own business. they are very good with helpin getting ideas off the ground. | |

| I'll probably try Prince's Trust if I start up like an art collective/agency or something, but I'm not exactly Mr. Businessbrain (I have not inherited my mum's financial skills at all). Fortunately my time in the Job Centre was brief and without incident (have to ring a number to make a new claim and get an appointment etc etc). At least the ball is rolling, or wobbling in a way that suggests it may begin rolling... | |
