| Might cross post this in the Cosplay Groups section: Was thinking that the more steampunk characters we had in one place at one time at Alcon, the more photos we got together. what i propose is that for one show when a majority of us will be there, we make an actual crew, with some kind of uniform or signifier (even if its just a ships badge) filling out all the traditional roles. I would like to play either as Quicksilver (captain) or Murphey (Ships Mechanic/pet) - but there are plenty of other roles: - Medic
- Either mechanic or Captin, depending on what people want
- weapon specialist
- soldier
- thief
- 'companion'
- backer/owner
- cabin boy
- etc.
woul;d people be interested in doing something like this?

| ooh if the Backer/owner is what i think it would be then it will suit my character as she needs to hire a crew and ship. If not then i have no idea, Ill peel potatoes and make PIE lol Also would this work for our possible meeting in July to Manchester??? Gives time to work out Insignia etc | |

| backer/owner is just how it sounds - the person who owns the ship and pays the wages | |

| I think I want to be the ships navigator, my tendancy to confuse left and right could lead to some interesting adventures :3 | |

| I don't even know where Jacobi would fit... He's not really a crew type person, being all Sherlock meets Daredevil... | |

| been talking to this seller:
http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheWiseOldeOwl
and trying to get a number of patches made in custom styles - she does good stuff, cheap, and posts to the uk for as little as $2.00 - waiting on a big raven patch to see about the quality

| I love the blackbird design That's another craft I want to take up now!!! As a 'crew' do we have a back story? I'd love to volunteer my services, I'm thinking cabin boy (maybe butler?) or soldier roles at the moment, but put me where you need me Sanding my first weapon down as we speak. | |

| right, i have purchased this patch: and it arrived while i was away this weekend - took about three days. the seller is also experimenting with a seven centimetre across circular patch bearing the same symbol, but overlaid with the caligrapgy for this: . shouldn't cost a great deal, perhaps five pounds max. wondering who would be interested in one other than me? | |
