Shiva Sister

Okay, for Whitby next year or sometime, I'd LOVE to do this costume:

The thing is, I have no idea where to even start with this thing. Sam/Akemi already gave me a link for what I could do for the....'shoes', but other than that....

Any help appreciated?

Wow....
That looks amazing! Similiar to something I want to do, but I really have no idea how you would go about doing it to be honest. I know there are a few tutorials on how to make armour with different materials like latex, but it's all a bit beyond me.
