Alright, after spotting this cosplay video, the costume has shot straight to the top of my list <3.
Anyone have any tips/patterns/anything I could put to use? This costume doesn't look as hard to make as Altair's, but I'm still severely lacking in costume skills OTL

omg I so wish I thought of this first!!! It looks like the dress could be 2 or 3 peices- skirt top with hood and bodice/bra shape that could be attached to the top. it looks like one peice with the belt hidding the hems. the top pattern you can get by looking through gen fashion pattern sites. Im pretty sure that McCalls has one with that sleeve pattern.
The belt and arm gaurds might have to be custom made. theres a fair few about online im sure if you search or you could get some leatherett and have a go at ingraving and such. I defo wanna see pics of this as you make it!
