I know this is gonna sound stupid >< but i'm gonna say it anyway!

Muppet Christmas Carol, watched it over the holidays and they actually have some pretty accurate and cool outfits for the kids in it Razz

Guess it depends if you wanna make them accurate or a little different?

if only we could convince more children of this fact, then we could start rebuilding our cheap workforce. the victorian era could come again! Add in liquid bread for that authentic effect and we're all sorted.

with the street urchin look, don't forget a good thick pair of boots - a good pair of boots was a street urchins most useful possesion, as you can work and steal without a couple of fingers, but you can't do anything but beg without feet, and winters were cold. might also consider a corduroy jacket - you can get small ones in charity shops real cheap, and with a few patches and a little rough and tumble, you'd have a decent look going there. otherwise, definately on the right track
