Ok so i think ive decided to go for this one.
So im gonna need some help. From all your girlies out there who have made full gowns i could use the advice.
Heres a picture

Now ive seen here done in a few fabrics such as dark green velvet, but im thinking Polycotten, simply because it will be lighter. Satin i think will be too shiny and Taffetta again too heavy.
Im thinking a 2 tier hoop petticoat will be enough width, underneath.
All advice etc welcome
Yes im going to look like a giant green whale but i dont care

Looks lovely ^^ do you have a picture of it from the front so I can see what it looks like more? *is nosy*

Polycotton would probably be fine, as long as it's the better quality polycotton thats going to be thick enough for it.
Hoop skirt would be perfect for this, if you make it so the skirt begins at your waist not your hips it'll look really flattering so don't worry!
