More roleplay

sooooooo, steampunk roleplay seems to be doing pretty well or, at least, i'm addicted to it anyway!

So was wondering if anyone fancied setting up a few different roleplays?

totally open to suggestions, just wanna see who would be up for it cause.....1 just isn't enough for me!

Joe is starting a roleplaying group tonight maybe we could 'steal' his idea and run with that? Its a post apocliptic world where vampires, werewolves and trolls live in the open and have formed nations. Theres many uneasy alliances between these groups and humans. Its a world where technology is still being recovered so still quite 'punk' in that sense but you can introduce supernatural powers or abit of magic. We are playing it as 'legacies/clans' as we are all playing vampires in Joe's roleplaying session, its all based vampire clans. For example-

One type of vampire have followed humans round for centries feeding off the leftovers of war. Come from what used to be the Germanic area of what was once called Europe. They are very blood thirsty, good in battle and hate all other races.

Everyone makes up their own character and clan type and where they are placed in history. I already have one in mind so I could possibly kick off if anyone was interested? I could also borrow joes notes on this and post em up for ideas and create a basic structured world or just let people run free?

And yes I have discovered that this forum isnt blocked while im at work

Wouldn't mind getting in on that, though I'd prefer to play a lycan than a vampire. It you insist on rang hangers, though, then I'll have to be a gangrel - feeL vampires.with dominion over animals, and sometimes even the ability to take their forms. Thought to have originated in south America, where vsmpiric legends often describe the creatures as having the teeth, claws, and eyes of a Jaguar (I'm not even making that bit up)

This sounds interesting, i'm prepared to give it a go ^^

I'm currently on a site called Portal Breach. Its a roleplay forum for Cannon and Original characters. Theres characters from Emperor Zurg to Legend of Zelda.
I've got Khaazbaar and Daedalus on there but its pretty quiet because everyones getting pissed off at one person.

Maybe put a little subforum in general for roleplay?

Ok been thinking alot about different roleplay's i'd like to do and here's a couple of ideas.

A 'supernatural' roleplay set in modern times. You are a supernatural creature in some way - ideally this will be something that is in some kind of mythology (e.g. vampire, werewolf, banshee, succubus or whatever).
You have been hired by the government to track down other supernatural beings that are dangerous to society in some way, but there is a suspicion that this deal is not all it seems...

It is ancient times in a world much like earth. Tribes are scattered across the globe, most living in the wilderness, taking from the land but always giving back with respect. Most tribes are spiritual and all have a familiar animal with which they work closly and highly regard.
Each tribe has had to send a member to join a group who have been tasked with a quest to save their world....melodramatic....yes

I'll probably add more to this. But thinking we may need a new section for roleplay lol
I think we need some roleplays that are gonna be for people who wont be posting every day, and some that are a bit more...hardcore, that have people posting quite a lot

Here's one I've been planning on a back burner for a while:

They said that nanotechnology would save the world, that the einhoff langham versatility engine mk 5 (ELVE5) would change the way we lived. A robot in every home, they said. And odin watching over all of us, the AI behind the scenes. Odin had other ideas. The war he began nearly destroyed the world.99% of human beings were wiped out within 2hundred years. The only ones that survived lost everything. They were no longer the masters of their world, but nomads and savages living off the earth (think north American Indian levels of tech, with some anacronistic technology thrown in). Odin, the mad god, ruled all from asgard, and the war was long over.

Except that in the last days of the war, the human race laid down a backup plan. Specialist teams were selected to be put into suspended animation deep within the earth, in sealed bunkers with enough supplies to repopulate or start a gorilla war again the machine, long after it had fell to complacency. These teams were codenamed Rip Van teams.

You play one of these teams, and it is time to wake up
